I watched our Cherokee Six takeoff Monday with its new owner at the controls. 😢
As I was recording, it dawned on me that I had never watched or heard our plane take off. Odd feeling.
My last flight as a pilot was Nov 22 when I test flew her after the annual (good thing I made a nice landing 😁).

This model has been sitting in my closet for over a decade. Figured it was time to put it together. Any guesses what it is?
The balsa flyer in the background is a Guillow’s Cessna 180 my daughter started in grade school (8 yrs ago?). I finally covered it for her. Flies great.

I’m really happy with how Soarin’ turned out.
I planned to 3D print a sign from Thingiverse. But it would be small & I didn’t like the existing designs.
So I went big with foam board. Sign is 46”w x 14”h. Letters, swoosh, & glider are 3D printed.
