Scot mostly found in the West Midlands. Social democracy. Probably the only person to hold a season ticket for both Aberdeen and West Brom.

I don't agree with that in the workplace.
Another year, another Valentine’s Day with this one. 🥰💖

He must have something about him to have played at this level for so long, and I know people who rate him highly, but I swear Stuart Findlay is almost always dross when I watch him.

It is probably a statement of the obvious given the position they are in, but Hearts are really good, accurate finishers. They don't seem to miss many big chances, or even too many decent ones.

Sorry to hear that your dad didn't buy your mum anything for Valentine's Day because he has to fund some pints for Tommy Robinson in Benidorm instead.
Don't you hate it when fighting age men flee their own country, leaving their families behind, then expect other people to give them a handout.

Reform becoming the largest opposition party in Holyrood has the potential to be catastrophic for unionism in Scotland.

Two immigrants top relevant Sunday Times list for most UK tax paid, as "patriot" multi-billionaire Ratcliffe lives as an immigrant in Monaco, to protect wealth so vast it is unspendable, while whining about immigrant UK care workers and NHS cleaners not pulling their weight.

FUCK RIGHT OFF, "SIR".
Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah among Britain's biggest taxpayers on Sunday Times list
Erling Haaland was Britain's highest taxed footballer last year, paying nearly £17 million to the Treasury.

There really should be a coordinated, UK-wide policy on complimentary poppadoms with Indian takeaways. At the moment, it is just a complete lottery. Perhaps there could be a nationwide understanding that every £10 spent - and I am open to it being more than this - triggers one free poppadom.

There is something magic about hearing a regional accent really come through a chant at the football, particularly from the away fans. #NUFC travelling contingent with a couple of brilliant examples just then.

My half-time report from Murrayfield.

Under Mason, I never really believed that #WBA would be relegated. I thought lower mid-table mediocrity would be the ceiling this season, but that was likely it. Under Ramsay, it's difficult to know where any win is coming from. Seven games, no wins, fifteen conceded, four scored. Beyond dire.

What's the equivalent of the corner flag for Sir Chris Wormald being mutually consented?

A picture of the entrance to 70 Whitehall? An unattended lectern outside of 10 Downing Street?

When online disinformation is rife and so many bad‑faith actors are intent on provoking division and inflaming tension, it feels even more significant when someone with the reach and standing of Pep Guardiola - especially among younger people - uses their platform to speak like this.
Blaming immigrants for problems is wrong, says Pep Guardiola after Ratcliffe comments
Manchester City’s manager, Pep Guardiola, has said that blaming a country’s issues on immigrants is ‘a big problem’ after comments made by the Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe

Simon Jordan: The most stupid person's idea of a clever person.

Absolutely, catastrophically shit haircut and glasses on the boy, too.

Whether you rate the bloke or not, these numbers are basically Assad levels for any longstanding, senior UK politician in the year of 2026.
Andy Burnham's latest favourability ratings (10-11 February 2026) show a marked improvement following Labour's rejection of his candidacy for the Gorton and Denton by-election

Favourable: 35% (+6 from 14-15 Dec 2025)
Unfavourable: 30% (+1)

EFL clubs will vote for this, because why look a gift horse in the mouth? But it is a nonsense. The team relegated from the Premier League in 18th this season would pass 100 points in the Championship. If anything, and I'm not advocating for it, the case for restriction is stronger than expansion.

Jens Berthel-Askou is genuinely a miracle worker. He’s doing this with probably a middling EFL League Two budget. Motherwell had ten men for the final quarter of an hour and were 1-0 down at the time of the red card.

Fascinated to see what happens with Jens Berthel Askou when a bigger club, most likely in England or on the continent, takes a punt on him. What he has done with Motherwell has been remarkable in such a short period of time. I genuinely can't recall anything comparable in Scottish football.

Got to laugh when I read football fans saying a new manager "spoke well" or "came across well" in their unveiling. One day, I want a new manager to look at the ground and mumble about playing ultra-defensive, route one football - and how they only took the job because they couldn't get a better one.

You can understand why Spurs thought he would be a good appointment, but the game has moved on so much tactically since the early noughties.

Unless voting specifically in the Glasgow Cathcart and Pollok constituency, your name will not be on the ballot paper either.
'Keir Starmer's name's not on the ballot paper. My name's on the ballot paper'

Anas Sarwar asked if he will stand by Keir Starmer ahead of May's election if the Prime Minister comes north of the border 👇

I'll be watching the football on Sky Glass for about an hour and then it will suddenly be like: 'Yeah, pick up your remote or I'm going to switch off - absolutely knackered here, mate'. A shambling excuse for a TV, unfortunately.
February 10, 2026 at 8:50 PM
The best follow-up to the Sarwar intervention calling for Starmer to go, would be for senior Labour figures now to spend the next week all calling press conferences demanding each other resign. A bit like a political version of that Peep Show episode where they all try to get each other sectioned.
