This is why everyone should ignore the stories about Trump's de-escalation. The administration is *not* pivoting. It is pretending to pivot until the heat from the public and Congress dies down. Meanwhile, on the ground, it's more of the same, with slightly conciliatory language before the cameras.
More ICE door-to-door operations are taking place in Blaine, Minnesota, on 1/28/26.

I'm working on the premise here that when push comes to shove, particularly given his age, Farage doesn't actually want to be PM.

He's spent his entire life shouting from the touchline without really having to deliver anything. THAT is what he enjoys.

In 2020, David Attenborough delivered his Witness Statement to the world. In 2026, UK government forced to reveal the truth about the destruction taking place on our planet and the loss of biodiversity. The crisis which is unfolding is shocking. We have a very, very BIG problem!
Please spread this far and wide, as stories don't get much bigger than this. When the government blocks even the intelligence services from telling us we're heading for environmental catastrophe, you know we have a problem. A very big problem.
Thank you.
