Thanks for keeping up with all of this. Reading what everybody's posted as it has unfolded the past several days. Withholding judgment as is typical with our industry.
And unless you are an award-winning design agency, never use more than 3 or at most 4 fonts. EVER.

And get those in within the 1st 10 assets retrieved during the page load.
Most websites are loading fonts wrong.

❌ Google Fonts isn’t “free” (privacy + speed cost)
❌ Icon fonts were a mistake
❌ WOFF2 only - stop shipping TTF/WOFF
❌ Subset or bleed megabytes
❌ Fallbacks matter (and can be tuned!)

You’re loading fonts wrong (and it’s crippling your performance)
Fonts are one of the most visible, most powerful parts of the web. And yet: almost everyone gets them wrong.

It's in his DNA. When the homeless issue got so big in Cali, he chose to side with the fascists. He fully backs entire encampment sweeps across the state.

He's a performative con artist. His "instincts" are "whatever I can say where I can seem to stay relevant in discussions".
People need to wake up and accept the fact Newsom has always been a predatory opportunity politician.

Then, when Kamala did an end-run around him in the last election cycle, his dark side just started showing up more and more.

Now? He's a performative con artist just looking to stay relevant.
OTAs & then Pre-season, I always cringe every time I go to read the latest updates around the league, waiting for the inevitable lost seasons for star players.
I noticed a lot of them only allow comments from people they're connected with. And all of them just repeat and amplify the same talking points.

Meanwhile, those of us who have observed politics for 30 years, know Newsom is a con artist. A Charismatic manipulator.

Having lived in California most of his career, I saw him for the manipulative, charismatic vulture that he really is long ago.

His views on the homeless, or protecting PG&E, or podcasting with Nazis, for example, are radical on the wrong side.

He is a performative liar. A fascist in Dem clothing.
I knew when I met him, with my young boys looking on, that Gov Gavin Newsom was the real deal.

You don’t become the leader of the 4th biggest worldwide economy by accident.

I’ve seen him up close: super smart, empathic, and authentic.

Our country needs his leadership desperately.
Having lived in California most of his political career, I saw him for the manipulative, charismatic vulture that he really is long ago.

His views on the homeless, as one example, are pure authoritarian.

He is a performative idiot. A fascist in Dem clothing.
The system broken beyond repair, is intentionally cruel. People like Mariana do heroic work for those who are already suffering, and forced to navigate a system beyond anything anyone should endure.

New post is live. A reader asked if having similar steps in a process will create a duplicate content problem for SEO, AIO, GEO, etc... The answer is no.

I share why and a few ways you can have similar steps without competition.

Do Similar Processes Cause Duplicate Content Penalties?
No, sharing similar steps to solve different problems is not a duplicate content issue when you have proper content and code.

Niners fan here. I think Seattle looks sharper, though it's too early to know. It feels like they're going to be competitive, making for a great season in the division.
Some would say more information is needed.
A little bit of everything.
Working with GPT takes patience. The clearer my prompts and the more I forgive mistakes, the better the process goes. When a “clear” prompt gets weird results, I try to spot why so I can improve my wording.

Fascinating! Going to experiment with this one
44 page audit delivered.

Always so grateful when another audit is done and sent out.

And now I have availability for another audit or consulting gig.

Could really use the continued cash flow
