Getting off the C train I thought “that was the most peaceful commute I’ve had in months. Plenty of seats, no one said a word, nothing terrible happening”

Next train: there’s not only someone kneeling in front of everyone begging, but there’s also a guy playing guitar.

Cosmic balance I guess

Sitting at the window of a coffee shop on Atlantic Avenue for an hour, I’ve watched two delivery trucks pull seamlessly into a wide space on the curbside lane that happens to be open, keeping traffic moving. Really makes me long for loading zones instead of parking on commercial corridors

Can anyone recommend a good resource on web tracking consent for developers? (GDPR, CCPA, Do not track signals, third party cookies, etc)

This is a way better use of space than one parked car. And a nicer view from the coffee shop bar seating!

At a comedy show with an open bar (work event): “I’ll have a daiquiri”

“We don’t have any cream, but I can make something close”

“…..actually a Negroni would be great”

I really have to start remembering where I am when I order drinks

The 14th Street Busway has been a smashing success: faster commutes, fewer crashes, calmer streets.

So why is Eric Adams blocking a similar plan for 34th Street?

After a deadly weekend of three car crash deaths, today we're in court fighting Mayor Adams' attempt to rip up safety improvements on Bedford.

The Department of Transportation warns: “The City risks legal liability for knowingly reducing safety on a Vision Zero priority corridor.”

Hi, this is Meg Barnette, Brad's wife.

While escorting a defendant out of immigration court at 26 Federal Plaza, Brad was taken by masked agents and detained by ICE.

This is still developing, and our team is monitoring the situation closely.

This is fascism, no other way to describe it. Brad Lander is a candidate for mayor, and the city comptroller.
