We all knew Trump was going to sell out Ukraine to Putin. All his false promises - to end the war in 24 hours, to sanction Russia, provide Tomahawks, on and on. All BS. Pro-Ukraine GOP Sens & Reps suddenly silent. The US abandons allies under Trump. Putin owns Trump like a dog. 🤬

We are on a dangerous path in America. A panel of Ninth Circuit judges has chosen to not hold the president accountable: they just granted the federal government’s motion to stay our first TRO, which prevented the president from deploying Oregon National Guard troops in Oregon.
Why is Lindsey Graham adopting his hero’s habit of arbitrarily capitalizing common nouns?

Seeing the White House being demolished is a shocking sight, but what he’s doing to our constitution, our norms & values is far more obscene. We just don’t have a picture of it.

You know it’s bad when the Dept of Labor says immigration raids are “threatening the stability of domestic food production and prices for US consumers.”

“This is not about drugs, it’s not about Venezuela, it’s not about anything else but this new assertion by the president that the U.S. military will kill anyone he points at, for any reason he deems sufficient.”

Very true and very scary comment by Tom Nichols.

Amazon controls over a third of the global cloud computing market.

Its customers include Capital One, United Airlines, and the US Army.

Today's outage should be a wakeup call: Dependence on a handful of powerful corporations is a threat to economic and national security.
BREAKING: Amazon Web Services

A massive AWS outage early this morning sent major websites and apps down for several hours

Tracking site Downdetector has received over 8 million reports around the globe

All the folks who say “beans keep, why don’t the soybean farmers just hold onto them until this tariff crisis is over” probably should watch this video
A grain bin filled with soybeans collapsed in Iroquois County, Illinois, taking out power lines but causing no injuries.

Clearly Trump lied when he said his $250 million ballroom wouldn’t “interfere” with the White House.

So who’s watching this mess; the White House Historical Association or the Office of the Curator? Because someone needs to make sure he’s not bulldozing history for a dance floor.

It's all so fucking stupid. Like an argument could be made that the reception facilities needed expanding. Ok. Fine. But there's a way to do things. Where's the historic committee? The architectural consultation? The submission of design to the public and to open bidding? Where the fuck is Congress?
Forgive me, but wasn’t there a better way of doing this? It seems as though they’re trying to do as much damage as possible—as in all things.
Did you take pictures? I spent two Xmas holidays in London way back and had the best time. Museums were free, pubs on every corner. This was before Abbey Rd did tours (that I knew of), so only did the crosswalk and saw the MPL offices. Buffalo VIP are out of reach—just hoping to get in the door.🤞
People keep saying that—but the Heritage Foundation + SCOTUS don’t seem to be willing to let them fail. I want to have hope…
Last time, IIRC, Mark Meadows was burning so many documents in his West Wing fireplace that his wife complained his suits reeked of smoke. Not to mention the flushed papers (who flushes torn up documents?)

Ask her if this means everyone in the regime using Signal is using disappearing messages that aren't being properly retained according to public record laws.

EXCLUSIVE: One Saturday afternoon in October, my phone lit up with a notification.

I glanced down at the message.

“Anna, Lindsey Halligan here,” it began.

So began my text exchange with the woman who is prosecuting the president's perceived political enemies.
