LAKE YELLOWWOOD SLAUGHTER is the graphic novel "adaptation" of a 1983 slasher movie that never existed (directed by a has-been giallo filmmaker cashing in on Hollywood's new slasher fad). This time, the summer camp killer goes after the parents. It's by me and Gavin Guidry…and you can order it here!

I had a daffy professor in college who ended up becoming a big-time blue-check lib grifter on twitter. Not even saying her name here because I know those people search for it to see if she's come to Bsky and I don't want that smoke

It's my 10-year anniversary of going full-time freelance. No more all-staff meetings, no more office lunches, no more 6 different bosses (no more health insurance, no more steady paycheck, no more work friends). It wasn't always easy, but I made it to 10 years, and now ALL my bills are on autopay

In the past I would have thought that a politician saying "I do not believe that the American people should be assassinated in the street" would be satire of the hammiest possible fist, but now we live in an America dumber than the worst possible ham-fisted satire your average hack could dream of
AOC: That is a fundamental difference between VP Vance and I. I do not believe that the American people should be assassinated in the street.

I just found out two things: one, Camilo Punsoda, a Puerto Rican guy I only knew as the star cook at Hamburger America and an aspiring chef, died last fall; two, it turns out that I know his mom, a colleague and close friend of my mom, and we had tons of other close family friends in common

It was only a matter of time until ICE gunned someone down in cold blood, ICE is an abomination that needs to be disbanded and its directors and agents prosecuted

I'm told there's a Puerto Rican restaurant in the town of Fishkills, NY with a framed copy of Fantastic Four: ¡Isla de la Muerte! hanging on the wall. That little comic book meant more to me than ALMOST anything else I ever edited at Marvel

Wired: not realizing your choice of song is titled "Good Riddance"

Inspired: when the official NYC Mayor account switches to a new pic and it looks like Mamdani is telling Adams good riddance
