idw optimus may have straight up just left to go do whatever and kinda give up on being a leader but also he had these scenes so it balances out

I read a fair bit of idw(phase 1 and the first parts of phase 2) and i was kinda surprised bc he didnt really feel like a person? like the superman thing where people think of him as a symbol or idea and not as a character.
Maybe that's why TF: One was goated. He sucked in that movie(affectionately)
