At some point, the 3 justices appointed by Democrats need to denounce the 6 conservative justices far more publicly than in their dissenting opinions. They should do media rounds & explicitly call them corrupt partisan hacks. They should frankly question whether SCOTUS has legitimacy right now.

If you like indie folk and also Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath then I highly recommend this track.
I haven't listened to the Decemberists seriously in almost a decade but decided to listen to their latest album. I dig the folk horror elements but overall wasn't really grabbed by it until I found myself bawling in my truck to "Joan in the Garden" and I remembered why I used to love them so much.

Look I know capitalism is awful and it's going to cause us all to burn alive on this rock but it did bring us Ruffles flamin' hot cheddar and sour cream potato chips so maybe it's not all that bad.

If you pitched a TV show where a southern Senator named Cotton advocated for the cold blooded murder of brown people because they were SUSPECTED of MAYBE providing drugs that his white constituents consume enthusiastically, you’d be told to tone down the obvious metaphors.

Of the 80,000 Somalis who live in the twin cities, only 4000 are non-citizens. And the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of those 4000 non-citizens are NOT undocumented—they are here legally.
There is no immigration issue to enforce here.
