Trump has been beefing with the NFL for as long as he's been a national figure. There is an entire Wikipedia page dedicated to this feud specifically. ESPN made a 30 for 30 documentary related to it years before he became President. As with naming buildings after himself, that post was pure Trump.

Uh package theft is a very serious issue, with a staggering ~0.0026% of packages falling victim to porch pirates in 2024 alone!

i'm baffled by all the people in the replies to posts about the spy doorbells asking for alternatives. like... the alternative is a regualr fucking doorbell with no camera in it. or a door knocker. get you a weird gargoyle guy! you dont need a camera!

Friends in Minneapolis are very worried about this development. Both in terms of state police's role in arresting protestors and the worry that this could set off the kind of spiral of distrust and destruction that followed George Floyd's murder.

I think what's fueling my pessimism is that deep down I don't think "it's not about ideology it's about who is willing to fight" is actually going to prove true.
Ideology defines what's objectionable about all this and why. Ideology is why these people weren't jailed to begin with.

I suspect if I'm a pessimist about ideological centrists in "team fight" is that I think they're focused on primaries which won't happen for years, and when push comes to shove won't back any radicals in "team fight" in one of those anyway.
