Finished this years Halloween movie night. Carved pumpkins as usual, but this year we tried screen printing some shirts. Turned out pretty well.
I’ve certainly got a few yards with your name on it, if you are interested. I bought this when it was cheaper and plentiful. Made some jeans over a decade ago, but I’m really enjoying seeing you tackle this with much better equipment and discipline.

I still have a couple of rolls of selvedge denim from the old Levi’s White Oak Cone Mills from before they shut down.
I feel good knowing he is out there, watching basketball and playing video games. If this is what allows him to do that, and he is making that choice consciously, good for him. He’s earned it. But I fully agree. This feels like a fire sale on his brand.
Let’s hope for something a little better than Suburban Screams. I don’t fault Carpenter for taking an easy paycheck, but I can’t bring myself to watch it either.
I’m ready to give my TED Talk on the Evil Dead timeline at any moment. You just say the word. There will be a lot of red string on cork boards.
I bought my LG UltraFine 4K Display from Apple 5 years ago and it’s been great.
“Women don’t like the vehicle”
This shot is branded on my brain
It just hits different on the big screen. It’s still a lesser Carpenter, but that ending packs a punch.
Theater to myself. They don’t know what they are missing.
The tradition of movie night lazy photoshop posters continues. As usual, I make a cameo.
It’s a tart. It’s in the name.

Rest in Peace to the great Drew Struzan, a man whose work sparked the imaginations of a whole generation of movie nerds. The master is gone.

I had the privilege of visiting him in his studio once and getting to talk shop. Here’s his words on one of his masterpieces:
Time for the “Sam Raimi, please don’t say anything disappointing about AI during this press tour” challenge.
First look at Sam Raimi’s new film ‘SEND HELP’, starring Rachel McAdams and Dylan O'Brien.

The horror thriller follows 2 co-workers who hate each other but get stranded together on a desert island after their plane crashes.

In theaters on January 30, 2026.

The recent releases have a lot of deleted scenes. This was from a missing location “Fort Detmerring”. youtu.be/c_7DgTuTf90

Universal Monsters In My Pocket. Found these for $2 at 5 Below and couldn’t resist. The bubblegum pink They Live alien is perfection.
My 5 years working remote in the burbs was amazing, but the one thing I missed was the food. At least I have the Atlanta food back.
Hell Comes to Frogtown (1988)
PORTLAND: “The frogs are multiplying”

(#NotAWarZone Noem Matter what Kristi says)
I’ve seen it a dozen times, but it moves so fast, it’s still shocking. Gets in and gets out in 97 minutes. I’ve never seen that transformation more clearly and it feels like a stronger argument against AI than it was against CGI.
