Still working on this, but I'm above average height I think
I've sent my first foot pic. Though in fairness it's to demonstrate the exciting colours of a broken minor toe rather than salaciousness

Being an adult is wanting to play video games on a Sunday but having an infinite series of silly little jobs to do until literally half nine at night

Held hostage by the Robert Downey Junior Doctor Doolittle film because it was on while I was eating a toasty. Absolute rubbish. Rancid dialogue, incoherent action. Decent actors floundering around, motivated by alimony and tax demands

Really enjoyed Wicked: For Good. The central performances are so strong, the story so painfully relevant I fear there's a reading where Glinda is Marjorie Taylor Greene, and it turns out audiences will come in a big way for a big entertaining film with colour and substance

Genuinely very very funny
A reporter asks if Mamdani stands by calling Trump a fascist. Mamdani starts to give a delicate answer.

Trump (smiles, pats Mamdani's arm): "That's OK, you can just say yes. It's easier. I don't mind."

Obviously the content of the message is awful, but the capitalisation situation here is insane

the desire for Endless Franchise is sublimated hunger for God. if the franchise ends the hunger pricks, the dread tide ebbs. the standalone short story exists, in the franchise acolyte's imagination, like the grim reaper a the end of a dark dirt road

Movie question: are babies open source? I had only known them from Boss Baby, but didn't expect to see them in Look Who's Talking!

Important:
Back when I was studying philosophy, my lecturers would introduce us to thought experiments - hypotheticals intended to dramatise and open up thought about hard to grasp ideas. One of these was the idea of the Philosophical Zombie: an outwardly normal person with no inner experience.

Just finished Philip Pullman's The Rose Field. Together with The Secret Commonwealth, it forms a masterwork. It spoke to me very deeply about the constant work of fighting disenchantment and alienation. It sees the same issues in the world and weaves such rich fantasy around them.
