- readers
- crafters
- linguists
- foodies

Some of it is filmed in Belgium.

I'm afraid he is no longer with us. Plus, I only remember the one case where a figure had been seen on a staircase and my father was asked to go and say prayers in the house. I don't know what the outcome was. Christian ministers generally take these matters seriously and try to help where they can.

CofE vicars are expected to help people experiencing this sort of distress. It's part of their training. My father was a CofE vicar and was, on a couple of occasions, asked for help by people who were worried because they had seen things they couldn't explain in their homes.

Very glad to see this show back again. We were also pleasantly surprised at your Yorkshire tour guide in Patience which is a show we love. As Yorkshire-based fans of yours we were very impressed by your Yorkshire accent!

Some Tories, after 14 years in powerโ€ฆ

โ€ฆare saying nothing now works in the UK.

So theyโ€™re joining Reform, so they can complain about the Tory record - and you can vote them right back in, in a few yearsโ€™ time, under new anti-Tory branding.

Tax the super rich to stop cuts to public services

As a pescatarian that's often my go-to at MacDonald's unless I go for a completely vegetarian option (there are a few in UK MacDonalds).

Can we PLEASE have a reset on how foreign workers are viewed in the UK?

This insistence of adopting a right wing framing, even by Labour, is insane

This is Winston Churchill visiting Washington DC to request assistance in the war against Germany. Notice he is wearing a "zip suit" and not a traditional suit. This was to honor the British troops--the same reason Zelensky dresses the way he does.

In our household in Yorkshire, "it's like Whitley Bay in here" means "it's freezing" after we spent a very cold day there a couple of years ago.

Explanation from @peterstefanovic.bsky.social that former Musk favourite Farage is talking โ€œbollocksโ€ when he claims we need to leave the ECHR to take back control of our borders.

Leaving would remove rights already used to protect British citizens from bad decisions by its own government.
With Nigel Farage and Reform UK again calling for the UK to leave the European Convention on Human Rights here is a reminder of why joining Russia and Belarus as the only European countries outside the ECHR is a very very very bad idea

We can't let British democracy turn into a plaything for overseas billionaires with short attention spans.

At PMQs, I urged the Prime Minister to work with us to make sure power always sits with the voters, not wealthy foreign oligarchs.
