I haven't spoken about this publicly until now, but I and 4 other collaborators for Yazeba's have been in an incredibly exhausting and ethically dubious legal battle for over a year. I'm thankful that Rascal News has officially released our story.
Five creators who worked on Yazeba's Bed & Breakfast have spent the past year fighting a legal battle against Possum Creek Games and Steve Jackson Games. Neither the tabletop RPG nor their working relationships survived the fallout.
Battle over Yazeba’s Bed & Breakfast contracts leaves the book, relationships, torn apart

It's hard to overstate the impact Jean Rabe had on my career. Jean first hired me at TSR to write adventures for the RPGA and Polyhedron, and encouraged my development as a GM and event coordinator. She made a lot of RPG people the best version of their selves they could be. We'll miss you, Jean.

Just got word from Steve Sullivan that Jean Rabe has passed.

She was the RPGA's fourth Network Coordinator, a position she held for almost a decade, but I personally know her best for her Dragons of a New Age trilogy (but she wrote *tons* of books).

Honor your agreements—pay your freelancers. If you’re in a tight spot financially, or other parties cause money problems so that you’re suddenly low on funds, that’s unfortunately completely irrelevant. The freelancers don’t need to care about that. Pay them.

It's #PirateBorg day. I need this!

My players are mounting an middle-of-the-night assault on a rival pirate's frigate; leveraging a hit squad of assassin monkeys they bribed with homemade banana "yum yum rum".

I love this ridiculous #TTRPG.

We recently added a few new faces to our adventuring party, and Erin is one of them! I first worked with Erin on Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel. I was amazed by her keen sense of narrative and worldbuilding then, and she's done a ton of great work since. We're lucky to have her! #WOTCstaff
Finally got around to updating ye olde profile page with some fun news: I’ve joined Wizards of the Coast as a Game Designer for Dungeons & Dragons. Much love to everyone who has been part of my journey through TTRPG writing and design land so far – excited to see what this new chapter brings!
