Every job lost because of AI, is the loss of a customer who had a wage that s/he could spend on your product. Robots don't have any need to spend money. Robots are Bad Capitalism!

The estimated seat nos are based on an uniform national swing. A lesson from Caerffili last week is that uns will be unlikely in the next general election. The anti Reform vote will coalesce behind the most likely center / left party to beat them at a constituency level.

The translators for this project: Sifiso Mzobe and Zukiswa Wanner, aren't online here, but I hope people will give it a look and help us support them. Getting this second book funded would mean so much to so many people.

I can’t stress this enough: you cannot understand politics without reading this paragraph about why there’s no such thing as a 1/3rd pound hamburger
Like booze, fags and porn gambling is addictive, so advertising it should be banned like booze, fags and porn adverts are.

Tesco could pay every worker an extra £10,000 and still make a profit.

British Gas could pay every worker an extra £35,000 and still make a profit.

Shell could pay every worker an extra £300,000 and still make a profit.

It is the billionaires who are ripping you off.
The Fabians were right wing humanists who objected to nonconformist influence on the Liberal Party, not radical communists. They were committed eugenicists though, so would be attracted by the current Labour Party's attacks on the old, the disabled and poor people with too many kids.

Welsh & Scottish Labour MPs only secured a Labour UK government between 1964 & 1966 and between 1974 & 1976. All other Labour governments have either been landslide of more than the total number of Welsh & Scots Lab MPS or minority governments dependent on MPs from other parties.
None of them alive now, but I called all of my parents cousins aunty or uncle, because they were close family of a similar age to my parents. It would have been too formal to call them Mrs / Miss or Mr and too rude for a child to use their first name alone.

Wanting Scottish or Welsh independence is not reactionary nationalism. Reactionary nationalism is wrapping yourself in British flags, supporting Brexit & banging on about immigration.

You don't get a free pass from reactionary nationalism because you're British.

This should be a worry for @WelshGovernment - if you don’t get literacy right, it’s hard to get anything else right in education, no matter how impressed you are by your new Curriculum
Exclusive: A member of the Welsh Government’s expert literacy panel has resigned, warning the new £8.2m national programme to improve reading is “flawed” and “not fit for purpose”.

Absolutely, we should tell people who are thinking of voting Reform that it's the political equivalent of drunk driving, something only arseholes do.
Given the party's refusal to act on Pochin's brazen racism, it should be as socially unacceptable to vote for Reform as it was in the early 2000s to vote for the BNP.

And we should be prepared to say this to people's faces.

Anyone can become disabled.

Anyone can lose their job.

Anyone can become homeless.

Anyone can go hungry.

These are not moral failings. They can happen in an instant.

Most people are far closer to living in poverty than they realize.

We must fight for one another & for the most vulnerable.
