Really wish they wouldn't have gotten rid of Poster's Roulette. I genuinely preferred a reply order where nothing in particular was prioritized--it led me to see a lot of interesting remarks that otherwise get buried. Big shame that got removed and I wish they'd bring it back.

They may look like house cats, but sand cats are fearless predators! Our sand cats both now live in the brand-new TLC Foundation Small Cat Hideaway.

Over 800 gallons of sandy substrate were spread through their habitats for the cats to enjoy digging and playing in!

Nobody is suggesting it should be changed lol. Everyone is simply making jokes about how most people do not realize that the "2x4" in question is referring to the original, undried/unmilled dimensions. Your original post made it sound like you didn't realize this.

My cormorant should be permitted to fly about the supermarket without interference while I am shopping—for the bird is particularly adept at finding the best deals offered on fresh seafood, as well as having a keen eye for the kinds of prepared foods & packaged snacks I tend to favor.

Seeing a lot of critical responses from medievalists about this BBC 1066 thing. As an early modernist, just to say that I'm happy to confirm that medieval people were indeed covered in dirt all the time and did all sound like they were in the Wurzels.
