🚨: friends in downtown Phoenix just got the keys to a fixer upper house days ago. The night before they moved in, someone broke into the vacant house and ripped the copper piping from the walls. These two handle ice and water distro every summer and have lost rentals because of their community work

It’s changed for the worse because I will have people talking to me **face to face** like I am a programmable robot. When I don’t act like the NPC their auto-brain predicted I was they are flabbergasted. Stop letting bots rot your brain of its humanity please and thanks
I would love to read a study of how our use of language has changed when we talk to customer service now because we know we are talking to a machine

Trans people need to be careful about talking about DIY. Yes talk about it in the general sense, quote the facts and figures but be careful. Don't give away sources to cis folks. Don't talk to journalists about the details. They're coming for it.

The positive outcome of this story is that in frantically googling around trying to figure out what happened and how I could at least see the end of the episode, I discovered that the show is available at my local library and actually can be streamed thence via Hoopla 🎉
