Russia has well over a million dead and wounded soldiers, have bare control of a sliver of Ukrainian territory, and now want the US to help them get more land through coercion because Putin knows their army can't do it. Russia's weak hand is showing, and US is acting like they have a straight flush.

I'm assuming the state panel is funded by tax payer money. if this is the case, why bother spending tax dollars on it if the state will simply ignore their findings and recommendations? Just seems like a waste of more than one thing.

Russia can't conduct a war with Ukraine, a border country, already having lost over a million soldiers, and they believe they can manage a war with NATO? This is either very simplistic propaganda or the intelligence Putin and the Duma is receiving is worse than the one for Ukraine.
A broader Russian war would likely draw in U.S.-led NATO.

States need to threaten to stop sending dollars to the federal government if no monies are being returned. It's a two way street. How is it that state governments don't get this?
