With the world’s soccer fans watching, Gianni Infantino, the great toady to the globe’s oligarchs, handed a made-up peace prize to the increasingly violent US president.

Israel Is Quietly Expanding Its Occupation of Gaza Under Cover of 'Ceasefire'
For us here in Gaza, this "ceasefire" is a fiction. The bombing has continued as Israel moves its Yellow Line.

"Of the 991 history exam questions set in 2023, 357 featured a named individual, but only 31 were women – and nine of those were references to Elizabeth I or her reign."

Dr Natasha R. Hodgson of Nottingham Trent University writes this week in The Conversation bit.ly/49ZqTiq
Women are still absent from how history is taught and assessed in England
Over a third of GCSE, AS and A-level exam papers in 2023 made no mention of women at all.

EU has fined X $140m for breaking European laws and refusing to address that when warned. Likely Musk won't pay and the Trump regime will pressure EU, but if so, they should stand strong and ban the website.

And oh the irony that this won't cover the UK, where Musk is stoking division and violence.
trump admin reaction to EU fine of X is illuminating. it shows a few things:

1. they are trying to distract from its own massive censorship of americans.

2. they are worried about losing a propaganda and disinformation platform to support racist anti-migrant parties in europe.

It is alleged that Nigel Farage aged 16-18 (1980-82) vocally objected to the number of Patels at Dulwich College.

A fellow pupil remembers him burning the booklet on these grounds.

The Guardian shows that this witness testimony aligns with the names + stats in the 1980 yearbook

crushingly heartless thing to say after well over 2 yrs of endless images depicting the mass murder & torture of Palestinian men, women, and babies. you can only say things like this if you are too racist and heartless to see Palestinians as human beings. and zionists like Clinton run the country.
Hillary Clinton blames TikTok and “totally made up” videos for young people’s views on Israel and Palestine.

She says social media influenced “not just the usual suspects” but also “young Jewish Americans who don’t know the history and don’t understand.”

Interesting that the @irishtimes.com article posted a short while ago on an attack on asylum seekers referring to the perpetrators as “alleged attackers” has been deleted. Please see my previous post.

1/2:

The people who brutalised the asylum seekers are called “alleged attackers” when there were witnesses. Within the same article it clearly states,

“Their attackers fled after two local people intervened.

The local people recorded some of the attack on a mobile phone and called gardaí.

Horrible story, and I hope those assholes are caught and dealt with

And while I certainly blame far right agitators, Facebook etc, and sleeveens like McGuirk/Gript for fomenting this kind of awful stuff, Simon Harris and others in government need to take a hard look at themselves and their rhetoric
Asylum seekers have told of how they were followed by men on motorcycles before being subjected to an alleged attack in rural Co Dublin yesterday.

The incident – which saw the young men beaten and their car windows smashed – has been condemned.
