True, still heartbreaking and sickening to see a pastor in that role.
As an important note to the video. The pastor in the video is NOT the pastor that is acting director of the ICE field office.

Easterwood=confirmed ice active director of field office.

Jonathan Parnell=different pastor seen in video.

Facts matter

Bloody hell is correct. Football can be so cruel (especially when the VAR is involved ;-))
Football, bloody hell. Wir zeigen eine starke Partie, verlieren in Dortmund aber denkbar knapp in der Nachspielzeit.

Train pain: 40 min delay on my way to C.; train joy: only 5 minutes on the way back home - yay! Quite cold, but beautiful, especially during sunset

If you know anyone still on the platform formerly known as Twitter, please share and urge them to leave 🫶
A growing number of women and girls have been digitally “undressed” by X’s Grok as users prompt the chatbot to show subjects in lingerie, covered in liquid, with black eyes or fearful expressions.
X users tell Grok to undress women and girls in photos. It’s saying yes.
The site is filling with AI-generated nonconsensual sexualized images of women and children. Owner Elon Musk responded with a laughing emoji.

New CEO said "evolve into a modern AI browser"... enough for me to opt-out entirely and find a different browser. Sigh.
Exactly. We know not everyone wants AI, which is why our approach is different. Firefox is not becoming an AI browser. Features are optional, clearly labeled, and fully under your control with a total opt-out coming early next year. It won't please everyone but we believe you deserve choice.
Look, I get that it's frustrating to see @firefox.com make an announcement this tone-deaf, but let's be clear: the same announcement makes it clear that their AI features will be clearly-labelled and can be turned off, which is more than we'll get from Chrome or any of its offspring (Brave, et. al.)

Unbelievably, #DuvetKnowItsChristmas generates such good will on social media that over the years we've raised somewhere approaching a quarter of a million quid for homeless charities. If you can spare a bob or two, sling some to Centrepoint, and here's the link: www.gofundme.com/f/duvet-know...

FUN QUOTE from the PubLunch piece about this monstrosity: "Asked whether rightsholders could elect to withdraw from the program, Iraheta wrote, 'To ensure a consistent reading experience, the feature is always on, and there is no option for authors or publishers to opt titles out.'"

Writing (and receiving) Christmas cards is my favorite thing to do during advent. Time to listen to Christmas cds, doesn't benefit crazy rich billionaires (cards bought from small local vendors), people usually enjoy receiving them ... win/win/win.

Saliva start-up.... what a wild world we live in.
A new Austrian start-up, which has been working with Borussia Dortmund, has developed a way of biologically monitoring players on a daily basis.

This is the story of that development and what it promises for the future.

Soccer and saliva analysis: The new front in the battle for marginal gains
A medicinal chemist from Austria had an idea and clubs, including Dortmund, have taken note. But how is saliva used to analyse players?
