There might be candy! Or squirrels!

The framing story is pretty fun (putting poltergeists in soda) and I found the first segment pretty creepy (Woman in Black/Barbarian vibes). 'Kidprint' will be a tough watch for some.

My partner thought her name was Beyonce!

Didn't love 'V/H/S Halloween' (more misses than hits this year) BUT 'Kidprint' is one of the darkest entries I've seen and very effective. Will be thinking about it for a while.
Man look at vhs tapes. Newspaper headline - 'two more found dead'

Could not agree more with your review (though might have been mean and given Funsize 1/5).
'Kidprint' was upsetting in a way I've not seen for a while in horror, very affecting.

Good grief. The goodest of griefs.

Rewatching 'AHS: Hotel' after ten years and I forgot how sumptuous it is. The outfits! The music! The hotel lobby!

'Bring Her Back' is wonderfully nihilistic and extremely mean in places. Plus a second vote for 'Haunt', love that film.

Best character in horror, fight me: Javier from 'Grave Encounters'.
"Yeah, I saw a ghost. Right over there. It was really scary."

Love this film. I tear up everytime she writes her own eulogy: "I died fighting".

Absolutely blown away by 'Alice, Darling'. A beautiful exploration of the insidiousness of coercive control and the importance of grounded, compassionate people who will call the bullshit what it is: abuse.
Double-bill it with the incredible 'Woman of the Hour'. Anna Kendrick is a force of nature.

It's just not autumn without a new Mike Flanagan show.
Guess it's time for another rewatch!

Urgh, that sounds hideous. And I bet Cillian Murphy didn't even show up with a machete to sort it out? Rubbish.

For real - I thought it was fantastic. Still thinking about it weeks later. MORE LIKE THIS!

For the longest time, I wanted to live in an abandoned London. And then Covid hit and I realised, even with a pandemic, apocalypse, or the rapture, I will still have to go to work 🫠

'Bring her Back' is incredible: brutal, nihilistic, heart-breaking. Watch it watch it watch it watch it then give the Philippou brothers a V/H/S segment to revel with. Do it!
