No Kings protests, and anti-regime protests in general, serve two main positive functions:

1) Reminding participants and observers that they’re very far from alone, countering regime efforts to divide and isolate

2) Showing the absurdity of regime lies about the peaceful, pro-democracy opposition

I added some recipes to the thread. Common theme is using veggies to stretch portions and increase fiber and micronutrient intake in an otherwise beige meal. Veggies are more affordable and available than you might think.

Cheesy Chicken, Broccoli, Rice Casserole: shredded chicken (whatever cuts are cheapest) seasoned and cooked, 3 cups cooked white or brown rice, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 bag of frozen broccoli florets, 1 onion chopped, shredded medium cheddar and colby jack cheese, combine and bake until warm.

Semi-Homemade options: adding shredded chicken (from whatever cut is cheapest at the store) to Rice-a-Roni or Pasta-a-Roni. Can also add veggies like mushroom, spinach, broccoli, peas, diced onion, etc to stretch portions and add fiber and micronutrients.
