Guys who suck are truly timeless. Mr. Thorpe is totally recognizable as a guy who sucks—doesn’t ask questions, tells weird lies, braggy, doesn’t apologize, won’t shut up. Just a classic guy who sucks!

This phrasing feels wrong to me. Shouldn’t it just be “Rain Forecast” with no -ed? Forecast is a noun and a verb phrase…I think?? This feels like “I eated lunch.”

Help, I need someone smart! This bothers me every time rain is forecast!

The baby woke up in the middle of the night and I took him to the window so we could see the eclipse. But I couldn’t even see the moon! I was so mad I’d missed it.

This morning I realized “couldn’t see the moon” is LITERALLY what an eclipse is.

Good news, I saw it, and I’m just tired and stupid!

This is bunk from Elon. They have laid off most of the experts, they're bankrupting most of the partner orgs, have withdrawn from WHO, and muzzled CDC.

What's left is a fig-leaf effort to cover their asses politically.

The vast majority of fired fed workers were just fired. There was no deal for them—they were escorted out of their offices and shut out of email.

I don’t think any of the fed workers who were given the opportunity and took the deal will end up getting paid anyway, but we’ll see!

I see the same thing with the “fork in the road” email. It planted the idea that ALL the fired fed workers are being paid through September, which is obviously a lie.

I emailed Sen. Eric Schmitt to ask about the impact of MO losing thousands of federal jobs and he responded by calling the fired workers “nameless, faceless bureaucrats who are not accountable to the American people.”
