I don’t really have an issue of 6160 Ultimate ending since they set up the 2 year ticking clock and they’re approaching the payoff pretty soon.

Even if it annoys me and wish they explored more in some of their books, at least they’re actually bothering to have an ending

Hell, even early Pixar took some inspiration.

Now the biggest weakness of the og film is the writing cause it sounds like an incoherent mess, but the characters, music and world are oddly keeps me coming back to the film a lot. I just can’t describe it; it’s a vibe

Part of the appeal’s just the design and aesthetics around TRON. The Grid is an otherworldly look at a video game world that is abstract and fascinating.

Plus while dated today, the og film was one of the first to use CG animation in a revolutionary way.

Pretty confused by how TRON became a big-budget movie franchise. Was it a bit hit when it came out? No. Did it become a big hit on video/TV? Also no. Do people have fond nostalgic memories of it? Eh kinda but not really. Was it secretly great and critically acclaimed? No again
