I know this has been talked about to death already but I want to talk about Chuck Close! He was known for making huge photorealistic portraits. One day at the height of his career he had a sudden seizure caused by a spinal blood clot that left him paralyzed from the neck down.

I worked very briefly with Hiveworks, with a project I wound up being insanely passionate about. I wasn't messed with as badly, but the project was scrapped pretty quickly due to poor organization and communication, marking one of many projects I had started for a company only to have it dropped.
