David Attenborough is right, “if we continue on our current path, we will face the collapse of everything.” We know what we need to do, it’s the corruption & lies of the fossil fuel companies & our leaders that makes extinction more likely. We need zero emissions within 5yrs!

To reduce the court backlog CPS could drop charges on peaceful protestors who walked slowly on a road for 30 mins in Nov 2023. The following numbers are approx but about 50 people all have 3 wk crown court trials by jury, occupying courts from April-Aug 2026, almost 3 yrs after the event. Nonsense.
Best understood, Labour's attack on juries, as a further lurch towards authoritarianism. Who, now, will stand in the way of a State that wants to imprison its opponents?

Given that the BBC endlessly gives platforms to lobbyists from the dark money junktanks without revealing their interests, shouldn't we be seeing such apologies every day?

Better still, how about not doing it? If they want to appear, we should know on whose behalf they are speaking.

Activists & social movement scholars are always discussing how different tactics may affect public responses

But I don't think it's the tactics themselves that really matter - it's how they're covered by media

And that depends on whether or not they counter the interests of economic elites
If there's one thing the mainstream news media love to overlook, it's the impact of the mainstream news media. The petite Tea Party in all its elite-backed astroturfiness was hailed like a sacred comet; the historically huge No Kings was played down by the NY Times, among other publications.

Remember when Ed Miliband promised to cut your energy bills by £300, asks CLAIRE COUTINHO. Well, since Labour came to power, bills have gone up by almost £200 - and they're going to rise again.

Starmer is clueless. He's repeating Biden's error of acting as if it is politics as usual, totally ignoring the massive international kleptofascist attack on British and Western democracy.

As with Biden, his gamble that the economy will come good is likely to fail, and then what?
Asking Farage to investigate links to Russia within his own party. Is like asking the Kray twins to investigate links to criminal behaviour within their own firm.

If only there was an independent organisation with experience of investigating criminals that Starmer could task to look into it. 🙄

The UK needs a thorough investigation into Reform Ltd & its directors & donors. We really need to know if they’re being financed with Russian money & to what extent, if any, they’re guilty of crimes against the country. Is their mate Gill the only bad apple in the Russian Reform Barrel, I doubt it!🏴‍☠️

This is first real pressure on Starmer from pro-EU side.

Why are we building nuclear power stations when we have to buy the fuel from Russia which is finite? Renewables provide free endless fuel. The answer has to be corruption, 100’s of billions of costs allows for lots of cash for “donations,” which politicians need for the survival of their parties.
