On X today Shows the vulnerability of the Sizewell nuclear sites
We're already burdening future generations with the impacts of climate change- it's immoral to also dump on them, the responsibility for protecting Sizewell C & its 4,000 tonnes of spent nuclear fuel from flooding for the next 150+yrs

Bordering @RSPBMinsmere, Sizewell C is busy destroying the tranquillity & scenic beauty of Suffolk's supposedly protected National Landscape- noise level recorded on apple watch at 90+ decibels. No wonder the UK is one of the world's most nature depleted nations!

Prof Jan Rosenow: Primary Energy Fallacy is the idea that all primary #energy from #FossilFuels must be replaced with equivalent #RenewableEnergy BUT not so - as conversion losses don't need to be replaced. More than 2/3 of all primary energy is lost as waste heat.

No surprise - the North Sea continues to erode the coast in front of the Sizewell C site & now appears to be less than 20 metres from the site boundary where the temporary sea defences are being constructed. Sizewell C - a #climatechange casualty, not a solution

I think this is why they changed the name from Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to National Landscape. It doesn't sound as bad to build on a national landscape as that describes everywhere. AONB is very specific.

...Also vast areas of East Suffolk's countryside are being devastated for building the roads, roundabouts, rail, car parks etc to enable Sizewell C to be constructed and operated, effectively industrialising this precious rural landscape.
