On Saturday, Oct. 4, at 10 a.m., the city of Vancouver organizes a ceremony where six alternate new flag designs will be raised on the city hall flagpole for public viewing. A final design will be picked by the end of October, with the city council adopting it by resolution in November.

Perhaps. But in this particular example, I've always found the placement of buttons to mimic the rotary layout to be bad UX when the 3x4 grid was already common for push button phones at the time.

This was one of my favorite 8-track tapes as a kid. Something reminded me of it the other day, so I found an old vinyl copy online and it arrived in the mail this morning.
