Last night Google Home turned off lights in the room I was in without any promoting or scheduling.
This morning an alarm I did not set and does not exist went off on my Pixel phone.

This is a very good boy who let me trim his claws without much complaining so he no longer sticks to everything like velcro.
This is also a very bad boy who took a shit in our bed a few hours later. He's never had an "accident" in the house before, so I think he might have been sending a message.

In addition to drilling holes into a piece of wood we already had laying around the yard, I removed and repurposed a 9' run of decommisioned galvanized pipe from our basement to use as a new pole. ♻️
Total project cost: $10 for the 1¼" drill bit.

A Saturday project was this woodpecker feeder -- a log that @andycouch.com drilled a bunch of holes through and I stuffed with various mixtures of suet, peanut butter, and seed -- to have something more attractive for the birds to pose on. The flicker finally used it!

I love that this New York animal sanctuary has two cats named after Southern Appalachian sodas, "Cheerwine" and "Dr. Enuf."
For the past year we’ve had to be a lot more involved in managing cat friends who find their way onto our Sanctuary grounds.
