I also like the plot of Going Normal - Xavier having a tantrum and deciding to quit and to go normal.... by stealing a man's skin and wearing it. And then wearing I think five maybe six different disguises. Though I also think this one bends the line between outrageous and terrible. Same with 2x8.

I'm also quite fond of this sequence/shot/set piece from near the end of Vibracaust, though I'm not sure if the rest of the episode is that good.

All of humanity (or at least, all of the Grand Canyon area) smushed together into a sort of fleshy statue of the Virgin Mary breastfeeding the Buddha. Yes they are still alive. This is basically just a way for someone to tell Xavier to visit his mommy.

The other being the fact that season one has a sort of arc. It's buried under a lot of the strange imagery of the series but Xavier is trying to find out who killed his father.

I don't disagree with you that it is shitty that Ncuti's run was so short but I don't think it was a malevolent action by the BBC, I think it was down to Disney being flakey with the deal. Hopefully Ncuti's doing well in his new roles.
