Wow. Greg Bovino admits on camera that his agents can detain people if you look scared, change your demeanor, or grip a steering wheel too tight.

As his unmasked agents walk around with large guns to scare you, they may arrest you just for that — even if you're a U.S. citizen.

I wrote about why the regrettable conclusions of Ezra Klein pissed me off so badly in the last couple weeks.

On moral cowardice in an era that calls for clarity, and a popular political instinct to try to solve divisions of abuse by ignoring causes. www.the-reframe.com/eventually-y...

I will gladly draw all of the frogs as a symbol for the movement, explicitly to take them back from the fuckers who co opted Pepe for their nazi shit.
A cheery, cute frog looking up and flipping off the camera while saying “fuck off, fascists.”

He wants X thing so he gets X thing is not a given. And to me that's the thing to uproot from people's consciousness. Because we're less than a year in and many people seem already defeated.

Personally, few things cut deeper as an artist than having your work referred to as Content.

Share your couples art! 🌙☀️

I literally just posted them so I didn't wanna just Do It Again but then I realized who give a shit. BEHOLD THEM SOME MORE 🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻
A pink-tinted black and white drawing of Emerald and Percy, to commemorate their re-engagement. They are embracing each other while Emerald leans back, and both look overjoyed. A black and white drawing of Emerald and Percy. Emerald has an arm draped over Percy's shoulder and is smooching his cheek; Percy is covered in red cartoon kiss marks and is letting it happen. A greyscale drawing of Emerald and Percy. Both of them are dressed fancily, like they're going to a gala; Percy is kissing Emerald's hand while Emerald watches shyly. A greyscale drawing of Emerald and Percy, styled like a fake anime screenshot. Percy is hunched over and clutching an unconscious and bloody Emerald, staring at the camera while his dawn caste mark burns over his forehead. Around them, spectral hands from Percy's anima banner come in as if to cradle Emerald.

"30-year-old conservative lawyer and activist who is Trump’s nominee to lead the Office of Special Counsel, which deals with federal employee whistleblower complaints and discrimination" cancelled his colleague's hotel room so she would be forced to stay with him.
www.politico.com/news/2025/10...
In late July, Paul Ingrassia, the White House liaison for the Department of Homeland Security, arrived at a Ritz-Carlton in Orlando with a lower-ranking female colleague and others from their department. When the group reached the front desk, the woman learned she didn’t have a hotel room.

Ingrassia then informed her that she would be staying with him, according to five administration officials familiar with the episode. Eventually the woman discovered that Ingrassia had arranged ahead of time to have her hotel room canceled so she would have to stay with him, three of those officials said.

I’m not kidding when I say these weird ass costumes and antics are actually an extremely effective tactic from a media standpoint bc when enough people do them, the media can’t fully scrub them out

okay. I've tried this before but maybe it'll stick.

WG is a forum where you can discuss at length tv, movies, books, new releases, metatextual topics, post and discuss art, post tutorials etc, read up in threads, which will not just vanish but stick around for a bit. try it!

Maybe we really do just need to start an old fashioned forum

I've tried but I don't have the clout alone. I'd need people to help me. I dunno, is there interest in an old fashioned phpbbs style forum where information can be archived for reading and actual discussion can happen lol

David Simon, creator of ‘The Wire’, being interviewed by Ari Shapiro (NPR)
SHAPIRO: OK, so you've spent your career creating television without Al, and I could imagine today you thinking, boy, I wish I had had that tool to solve those thorny problems...
SIMON: What?
SHAPIRO: ...Or saying...
SIMON: You imagine that?
SHAPIRO: ...Boy, if that had existed, it would have screwed me over.
SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.
SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this.
SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.
