Trump's FTC just deleted articles by former Chair Lina Khan about the dangers of AI.

Meanwhile, Trump is fast-tracking data center permits after Big Tech gave huge donations to his inauguration.

AI is making the richest Americans even richer while everyone else pays the price.

Erez Reuveni spent 15 years as an immigration lawyer for the DOJ.

The Trump administration fired him when he refused to defend their lies about Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

Way to go, Chicago, more of this! Kristi Noem is upset that ICE agents in Chicago are being “denied entry” to restrooms and lunch spots.

Trump has cracked down on universities and abducted student protestors. He sued news outlets over reporting he didn’t like. He cut off funding for public broadcasting because he thought it was biased against him.

We must fight back against all of Trump’s attacks on free speech.

800 detainees are missing after being held in Alligator Alcatraz in July, showing no record of their location in ICE’s database.

Other detainees have been mistakenly deported or sent to detention centers thousands of miles away.

The cruelty is the point.

It’s easy to take democracy for granted. It’s easy to assume that the Constitution is in stone. It’s not.

This is a moment when your courage and your activism are most needed.

it's so nice to see what a functioning judiciary looks like

"A transgender woman in the East African nation of Kenya has won a landmark court victory in which the judge not only found in her favour, but ordered the government to pass a Transgender Protection Rights Act."

fuck yeah
Kenya transgender rights victory hailed as African first

For months, $9.7 million worth of birth control meant for women in low-income countries has sat stranded in a Belgian warehouse — apparently destined for destruction — as a result of the Trump administration's freeze on foreign aid.
The U.S. said it would burn $9.7 million of birth control. Its fate is still unclear
Questions about their fate swirled after the government's July deadline for destruction came and went. Then came a false report they'd been incinerated. Aid groups say it's not too late to save them.

DOGE isn't fighting fraud — it's potentially exposing Americans to more of it.

Nothing about this fake government agency is "efficient."
A whistleblower has revealed that DOGE officials copied the entire Social Security database — containing sensitive information like Social Security numbers and birthdates of over 300 million Americans — to an unsecured cloud server without proper oversight.

Illinois State Senator Karina Villa sprang into action to protect her community from ICE raids, alerting neighbors to their rights and chasing off masked agents. This is how you stand up to authoritarianism. We should all be inspired by Sen. Villa's courage.

Last year, Kroger's CEO raked in $15.4 million — 457x more than its typical employee. Kroger also announced $7.5 billion in stock buybacks.

I don't want to hear that Kroger can't afford to treat its employees fairly.

Solidarity to these workers.
Kroger has shut down four Colorado locations as grocery strike begins.

The UFCW just launched these initial walk outs, but the strike could grow dramatically and spread across multiple strikes.

Over 100,000 supermarket workers have authorized strikes across the West and PNW.
