Aber es muss auch niemand so zynisch sein, nicht anzuerkennen, dass Proteste, das unermüdliche Dokumentieren von Polizeigewalt und das Nicht-Aufgeben dazu führen, dass Trump für jetzt den Fuß vom Gas nimmt.

Ich halte ein fatalistisches „die Meisten finden das gut, auch bei uns, alles ist verloren“-Geraune für wirklich gefährlich und ärgerlich. An diesem Punkt sind wir nicht und wenn wir ihn melodramatisch herbeireden verpassen wir Handlungsmöglichkeiten und Dynamiken.

Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now
