I haven't drawn these two in an eon, but had to get this messy as hell sketch out when the idea came up tonight. Maybe I'll wind up fully rendering it lol.

Remember to always spot your partner. It might cost your hearing, but it's worth it for the shot in the end.

This illustration is an original character for Final Fantasy XIV that I created as a commission.
I haven't played the game myself, so I'm not very familiar with it, but the design was stylish. It was challenging to draw, but I enjoyed it.

Elster and I were talking about how it could mean rebirth, possibly. As a belief in Chinese ancestor worship is that the soul splits in half, between Earth and Heaven. So this could mean reunification of the two halves in a way.

Yeah, no. I wondered if you meant that, but it definitely isn't one of those. It's an ancient ritual object from China. Has its own hanzi, 琮

The specific meaning of it is ???, but it supposedly combines Heaven (the circle shape) with Earth (the square shape). Shows up in many Chinese tombs.
