Apparently, it's Mental Health Awareness Day, but I can't help but feel 15 solid years of scrounger rhetoric has made a mockery of it.

If you don't accept that mental illness is real and often profoundly disabling, then you're stoking continued ignorance. No accommodation can be made with that.

This book is so beautiful and whimsical and adorable. Zuzana might be my favourite character in the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series, and it's lovely for Mik and her's story to take centre stage. The illustrations are gorgeous, as are the descriptions of Prague.
