In a rural area I have no choice but to purchase some items online. I already drive half an hour to pick up mail. Not everyone has good internet connection and older and lower income people don’t always have computers to access banking and government docs.

This may not affect you directly but Canada Post is a lifeline to many people still. I understand there’s a lot going on right now and this is just ‘one more thing’ but Canada Post is an essential public service and must not be privatized. There is a solution if the right people work together.
