A decision today by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit protects furnace standards set to reduce heating costs for many households-- saving households replacing an inefficient furnace with a new model an average of $350 over the life of the furnace.

Manufacturers Warn Trump’s Proposed Energy Efficiency Rollbacks Would Strand Investments, Advantage Foreign Factories.

ASAP found that manufacturers & their associations submitted more than 30 opposing the rollbacks and not a single one in support.

House Republicans’ energy appropriations bill undermines these goals by slashing the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy by nearly 50%.
