If Powells is in trouble, might the city leaders think some fundamentals are all off??

One of the best places in Portland and people thought it was ok to live there?

Asking them to leave is the problem?

Councilors/commissioners please speak up about the Vision

This is an example of moving in wrong direction

Let's get sensible and say, it's about ⏰ they were asked to leave
Nearly 30 people were forcibly removed from the Thousand Acres recreation area last month, after living unhoused on the public land for years.

Now, they face instability as they try to survive on the streets in the same system that drove them to seek refuge in the wilderness.

Why are you going against the mayor. Why oh why?

It makes us not like you peacock people and JVP - the ones mentioned

We must not allow street camping. Sanctioned somewhere

Where are your solutions?

Fundamentals are messed up

We need intervention! Shelters are it

It's really cold outside…

I hope all the people who are living in a tent, wake up this morning

If only they would take a shelter bed instead

Oh wait, our counselors don't think that's a good solution and prefer them to live in tents.

Anyway, my radical but also normie lib housing as a human right take is that we should do almost all our redistribution with vouchers and/or cash. Transfers do the job I care about most (housing almost everybody) & governments are really good at them

I co-wrote Trump’s first anti-terrorism plan in 2017-18. He’s not trying to stop “left-wing” terrorism. He is staging it.

His troop deployments are a false flag — meant to provoke a response in order to justify harsh crackdowns.

This is now very obvious.

It seems clear—I think to everyone, now—that a false and illegal invocation of the Insurrection Act is coming before the end of the year. Media outlets should be telling us how they will prepare for this potential Treason. State governments should be telling us. Activists should be developing plans.
