Good article by @im.giovanh.com about a "cozy" airport security game.

Wholesome games tend to reimagine labor -and reality as a whole- as we'd like it to be: beautiful, tidy, meaningful, social... but why would there be terrorist threats in this utopia?

I feel there can be no canon of games that doesn't *at the very least* include tiny Finnish demoscene games, Polystation and Gameboy hacks from the Middle East and LATAM, half-translated hacked ROMs from South Europe, mobile games from Africa, and the entire corpus of mini-iterative RPGs from Asia.

Hey #PitchYaGame!

As a gymnast, I dream of a game where you have full control over your tricks. Here is “Flips and Twists”, the game I'm making.

🕹️ Complete control over the rotation
🤸🏽‍♂️ more than 50 tricks to try
🌪️ Chain jumps to do even crazier tricks

I've learned (and I am still learning) how to run a game studio for the last seven years doing both creative and biz. Here's a list of guidelines that work for us and might be useful for others that were lessons I've incorporated with our experience and guidance from others. 🧵

Some thoughts on the state of godot after staring at its repo for a year
Is it finally time to use godot?
Kinda. It depends. There’s no best engine. Some engines fit your needs well and some don’t. I don’t know what you’re trying to make. People have been making games in godot. It’s possible. But you’re h...

Same for movies and video games. Finally played Cyberpunk 2077 earlier this year
You're not "late to the party" when you enjoy an old book for the first time. Books don't have an RSVP deadline. The party started long ago, and guests show up when they're meant to.
