I’ve started taking screenshots sometimes when I talk to my mom. The compulsion is almost like my brain wanting me to take selfies of us hanging out, a way to remember that we spent time together. It’s sad, not the same as actually being near her, but it’s the best I’m gonna get with her in Canada.

Tower, monitors, keyboard & mouse, even a *real desk*! (I’ve never even *had* more than one monitor before!!)
It should all arrive over the next week or two.
No more hunching like a shrimp over my phone in bed to write and edit for 6+ hours for me!! 🥳🙌🏼💖

A *lot* of cultures have feasting holidays at this time of year.
Giving thanks for a bountiful harvest before winter closes in has been a thing humans have done since the Agricultural Revolution, and I like to join in.
