GOOD NEWS! For the FIRST time ever, researchers have developed a targeted combination therapy that has successfully AND completely ELIMINATED KRAS-driven pancreatic tumors in experimental models. Tumors regressed COMPLETELY with NO recurrence OR major side effects. Let’s talk about that!

Well damn. People living <1 mile from a golf course have >2x the risk of developing Parkinson's.
I live <200 meters from one. My dad lived on the 18th green for years...& is developing Parkinson's. Still only correlational stage, but with a likely mechanism.

There's only one transit, so the true period is unknown. It could be anywhere between 300 and 550 days.
This is an exciting candidate! But (a) we don't know if it's real, and (b) we don't know what its temperature is if it IS real.

As someone who spent the last 15 years working with aging brains & dementia, I can't stop thinking about this. It is gerontocracy: leaders who are substantially older than most of the adult population. When did we accept this? The new generations can't show up because the old generations never left.
