New at The Watch:

I dug into archival witness accounts of the British siege of Boston prior to the American Revolution.

They are remarkably similar to what we're seeing in Minneapolis.

Two cities under siege
Remarkably similar scenes from Boston and Minneapolis, 260 years apart, show a federal government betraying its founding principles.

Your cowardice is allowing this to happen. People are risking their lives standing up for what is moral. You two risk nothing.

If you're lucky history will forget who you are. If we're lucky your guilt will be immortalized in history books.

Health care monopolies on patient care screw over working families and destroy your ability to access affordable care.

All so corporate CEOs, like those from CVS Health, can pad their pockets.

We must break up big medicine. We need a Glass-Steagall for Health Care.

Every EU country should divest from the US stock market and put sanctions on companies using our banks until the White House stops the Greenland/Venezuela nonsense and stop committing humanitarian crimes in our cities.

Early Regan admin. Great!

By 1990 we had 3 recessions, record unemployment, and a widening welth gap.
Hassett: "We're seeing numbers like we saw right at the beginning of the Reagan administration, a little bit during the dot com years. But there have been very very few times in American economic history where things were as strong as they are. President Trump's policies have really really helped."

Serious accent question. As Bostonian I worked on losing a heavy accent because no one takes someone sounding like Casey Affleck in GWH seriously. I know others from CHI NYC Philly that have done the same.

Why is it acceptable for elected Republicans to lean into sounding like Foghorn Legorn?

If there were a left wing media machine as there is on the right TJ Sabula would have a podcast and TV show by the end of the month. He would be the GOP nominee to represent his district in the next election cycle.
“I don’t feel as though fate looks upon you often, and when it does, you better be ready to seize the opportunity,” said TJ Sabula, the UAW worker who heckled President Trump and who Trump flipped off and cursed at. “And today I think I did that.”

Already lost the arguement using "common sense". That didn't work with gun control.

If it were common we'd all agree.
If we were dealing with sensical people on the right we wouldn't be in this mess.
Q: Is it your posture to put restrictions on ICE as a condition for funding DHS?

JEFFRIES: Renee Good should be alive. There was no justification. There are common sense measures that need to put in place so ICE can conduct itself in manner at least consistent w/ every other law enforcement agency

Appealing to my congressional representation.

Make Noem show you the training where this is OK. Subpoena all ICE training materials.

Is this a government policy?
This seems significant: not a FORMER DHS official, but a SENIOR (current) one saying the officer who fired acted counter to training.

This is not an admin that admits mistakes. And they are hanging this guy out to dry on Day One.

I think they know this is bad. Really bad.
