Serious accent question. As Bostonian I worked on losing a heavy accent because no one takes someone sounding like Casey Affleck in GWH seriously. I know others from CHI NYC Philly that have done the same.

This seems significant: not a FORMER DHS official, but a SENIOR (current) one saying the officer who fired acted counter to training.
This is not an admin that admits mistakes. And they are hanging this guy out to dry on Day One.

We've gotten to a place where we hold TV/movie writters to a higher standard of story consistency, explaining every detail, and sticking to rules they create than we do our elected officials.
