Just had to remind my husband we donated money for the USA flag bearer to attend her 1st Olympics. All because she did roller derby with a friend from high school. I can’t believe she has a gold medal now.

When Obama ran the 2nd time it was so ugly in some corners of the country. My mom was working that election in my hometown. Only 1 precinct open for early voting. So they were all in 1 room with the voters, just a counter between them. I usually call during election season to see how she’s doing.
