I take one tablet daily, the only reminder that I'm living with HIV. It keeps my viral load undetectable, meaning that I can't pass HIV on. I can expect a normal lifespan. One of the greatest challenges is stigma, due to a lack of knowledge. HIV has changed. #WorldAIDSDay

Archaeologists or historians in Berlin, is this dig in the Innenstadt Park? I was way too nervous about how high up I was to get my bearings. But snapped this dig – close to the Berliner Dom on the opposite bank of the Spree.

When I get into Melbourne every couple of months I always get into a nice bookshop and have a browse! My wife goes one way, I go another and we meet in the middle with our new partners after losing sight of each other for a few years...
The death of browsing is part of the reason art is the way it is now. Our opinions are largely fed to us by algorithms. Spending a spare 15 minutes wandering around a bookstore or comic shop or video rental place was how you found stuff you wouldn't ordinarily pick up and thereby expanded your taste
Bookselling is like the most "people go to the store and buy what looks cool to them without a particular agenda" type business left, and your purchases have a huge influence on what is ordered, what is displayed, and what is recommended.

6th November 1942. First flight of the Heinkel 219 night fighter. Though heavily armed, and overall a very capable aircraft with many advanced features, the ‘Uhu’ was also underpowered for its (considerable)
weight and suffered from persistent technical issues.

How did Nazi perpetrators attempt to evade prosecution (and their own guilt?)

In this episode, I talked with Andrew Wisely about SS doctor Franz Lucas' attempts to manipulate history and the justice system.

I do think this sort of open, gutter racism becoming normal enough that they feel comfortable saying it on TV is probably the most damning indictment of the last 5 years.
