Yes. When rape is shrugged off as “weather” or “God’s plan,” secrecy follows. Files stay sealed to guard power, not people. Our anger is knowledge; our silence won’t protect us. Name the harm. Release the records. Fund survivors. Prosecute predators.

What’s happening in America certainly has a lot of parallels to what happened in Germany in the 1930s.

I am not saying that Trump is Hitler, but fascism usually follows the same path at least to some extent.
