@bagelgremlin.magicalgirl.live did a lot of the heavy lifting (literally) and I owe them a lot for the help, they made things go so damn smoothly.

Playing Earthbound for the first time ever in 2025 is fascinating, actually. You're just a kid and the world's gone mad. All the adults are useless at best or trying to kill you at worst. My thought is that, despite what this one featured actor believes, the use of AI is not excused by the quality of storytelling or character development.

Especially when you’re talking about the eight thousandth iteration of the same Power Rangers thing. Bro.

Bro really appreciate your covering this and giving your initial reaction to it. It is bigger budget than previous episodes that Ninja Kidz produced before but yeah it's not Disney sized budget. The world is absolutely moving toward using Al more with everything. I get why some people would be off-put a bit by it but dang guys isn't it or shouldn't it be more about how strong the story and character development are to some degree as well? To hate on things you haven't even experienced at all is like looking at a plate of chocolate and telling your mom you're going to hate it because it looks brown and brown foods won't taste good. Just give it a try before judging. Thanks again for the honest reaction!

The difference in staging and blocking of cutscenes in different games is a fascinating thing to get into and examples like Final Fantasy 9 setting the scenes well and the movements of the characters to convey meaning goes a long way, something the Pokemon cutscenes don't really nail down.
