All good. It definitely was a tall ask for a backup. Wedgie bailed the team out against the Mammoth. I was hoping that the team would return the favor for this game. Oh well. I'm looking forward to your next episode. #GoAvsGo

I'm not making excuses at all. My point was that Otter was the difference-maker. The Avs played great but couldn't bury the puck when they had the chance. This is why Otter is elite and Wedgie is a backup. They are worlds apart. This game would've been 12-4 if it wasn't for Otter.

The few chances the Avs surrendered were high danger, and the Stars capitalized. Otter was the only reason the Stars won.

Postgame thoughts 💭

The #Avs played strong for most of the game. Otter was the only reason the Stars were even in this game. He continued his strong play against the #Avs.

The 2nd line needs to produce pts. The pp looked dangerous. The team can only get better.

The pp looked very dangerous with multiple grade A chances. I feel like the flood gates are ready to burst if they continue the strong play.

It feels weird saying this, but Connor and McDavid just reset the forward market after that ridiculous overpay to Kaprizov.

This is a good sign for the #Avs during these Necas extension talks.

Personally, 9-11M AAV range would be acceptable. Anything at 12 or 12M+ would be an overpay.

I've been very impressed with Brindley. This kid has the potential of being a game breaker when he uses his speed.

Malott trying to drive Manson's head into the ice after their fight on the 1st was dirty. It was a clean hit.
