I am a member of a church that isn’t afraid to call out the Government for injustice on the left or the right. We prayed for Palestinians during the Biden and now Trump years. The fact that we have to say that shooting priests is wrong is insane… we never had to say this when it was Biden in office.

Today I got to watch the consecration of +Jeff Bailey as our new Bishop of #C4SO. I am happy to have seen this historic moment for my diocese and church. There might have been a moment where I shed a tear or two seeing +Todd Hunter relinquishing his office. But I am excited for what is ahead.

Todd Hunter is a uniquely gifted communicator. I distinctly remember the first article I read of his was about the kingdom and its correlation to the church on earth. Unfortunately for us he is retiring in September. Jeff Bailey is now the Bishop co adjudicator.

We use this liturgy during the season of Epiphany to celebrate the light of the gospel reaching the Kenyan people. A Kenyan bishop sometimes visits our church as well because of it😂
