I decided to stop going home (8 hour drive) for Thanksgiving; it is always a rushed visit and leaves me exhausted. I have a tradition of going to the movies and relaxing/preparing for holiday season madness.
I take a full week off for Xmas and get to really catch up with family at that time

I am really happy for New Yorkers, Virginians, Mississippians, and everyone else who had good election results. But even with the good news I couldn't celebrate last night until I heard about a school levy in Ohio. The school where my sister teaches and nieblings attend faced massive cuts.

I know the fire hasn't really ceased and the fight isn't over until Palestinians have justice and self governance but one thing is every time I donate to Palestine now I feel like I am giving towards life and not just a desperate survival and that is good. Hope keeps us going.

It is clear that the only chance Auburn has to hang onto their top talent is to get a new head coach in before January. It seems obvious to me that Hugh Freeze has lost the locker room.

In the body of the article it says that "the weapon discharged when the agent tried to grab an individual who apparently rammed into a vehicle" so I had to read the whole article to learn that no, the weapon didn't spontaneously discharge, the ICE agent shot two people.
